 Art Students

 Through 2017 and beyond, The Art Career Project will be awarding creators, makers, and emerging artists with scholarships, grants, and start-up capital to help fund their education, start a new business, or pursue the artistic careers of their dreams. Whether you are a student, entrepreneur, or experienced artist, we want to support you.


 Burger King

 Scholarship grants range from $1,000 to $50,000 and are intended to help students offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected based on their grade point average (GPA), work experience, extracurricular activities and community service.

 20 William D Squires Scholarships are bing offered to Ohio seniors and the value has increased from $4,000 to $5,000 per year.  This scholarship is renewable with a potential valu of $20,000.

Paulding Putnam Electric

Must be the child or legal ward of a Paulding Putnam Cooperative residential member.  GPA 3.5 or above.  Application can be filled out online and printed.  All applications must be typed.  1st place boy and girl- each $1,000; 2nd place boy and girl- each 800; 3rd place boy and girl- each $600; at large scholarship boy or girl- $600.

Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons

Scholarships from the Grand Lodge of Ohio Charitable Foundation are distributed to a young man and young woman in each of Ohio’s twenty-five districts.  The $1200.00 cash scholarship can be used as the student wishes.  The applicant must be a graduating Senior planning to attend a college or a trade school.

One scholarship will be awarded to a boy and one to a girl from the 4th Masonic District, which includes Paulding County, Van Wert County, Putnam County and Mercer County.

Please review instructions on completing the year’s new requirement that the student must complete a FAFSA application and receive a Student Aid Report (SAR), which lists the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) on the first page.  Applicants must provide the first page of the SAR with their application, and this figure will be used in the determination of financial need.   In this first year of requiring the SAR Report, either the report for the 2019-20 year or the 2020-21 year will be accepted.  Applications received without the SAR documentation will be disqualified.

 Lafarge Cement Company

 Megawatt Scholarship


To be eligible for the Lafarge/One Energy STEM Scholarships, applicants must:

-Be a senior for the 2019-2020 academic school year, reside in Paulding County, Ohio, and attend an eligible school.
-Have demonstrated academic excellence in high school and have plans to complete a college education in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) discipline at an accredited school.
-Submit an official high school transcript.
-Complete and submit the scholarship application.
-Have a minimum 3.5 grade point average (recommended).

AG Plus

This program is available to any local student pursuing a career in agriculture or landscape. The scholarship program annually awards a $1,000 scholarship to students enrolled in any two or four year college in an agriculture curriculum. The scholarship amount is $1,000 per individual. The program offers four scholarships for this year.
