* Apply for Admission
Applications can be found online.
1- Go to NorthwestState.edu/apply-now
2- Under the NSCC Application for Admissions heading, click the Apply Online link.
3- New students will need to create a first time user account (this allows students to log back into the application if you get interrupted before completing.)
4- Students will be prompted to answer a series of questions that will funnel them into the CCP Application.  This is pretty straight forward.  One of the questions asks if a student will have graduated from high school prior to the semester they are applying for- it does give a specific date here.  They will answer no, and immediately be identified as a CCP student.

Application Deadlines: (CCP year is June-May.  Summer classes will be part of 17-18)

Summer semester- Application/Consent forms due: March 1
Fall Semester – Application/Consent forms due: April 15
Spring Semester- Application/Consent form due: November 1

*Intent to Participate forms must be turned in by April 1, 2017 in order to participate in any classes during the 17-18 school year.

* Complete the ACCUPLACER Assessment
When your application has been processed; the NSCC Admissions Office will issue you a student ID, or N number. You will have to use this to sign up to take the ACCUPLACER Assessment. The ACCUPLACER Assessment will determine your academic readiness for college-level coursework. Students must score within the designated range to be eligible for classes in that subject area. All College Credit Plus students must earn at least the minimum reading score.

NSCC will be at Wayne Trace on April 6th at 1pm to administer the Accuplacer.  The test will take approximately 1.5 hours.  Students who are absent at this time, will need to sign up to take the Accuplacer assessment at NSCC.  The Accuplacer schedule is published on their website under the Admissions link.

* Complete TWO online requirements
All College Credit Plus students are required to complete TWO online programs prior to registering for classes. Information on the programs will be sent to the student after all qualification requirements are met.  You cannot register for classes until they are completed.

*Meet with Mrs. Franz to Select Classes
She will help you choose classes that will fulfill your high school graduation requirements, if so desired. When you have determined your semester course schedule, you will complete a registration form to be submitted to NSCC.

*Meet with Your NSCC Academic Advisor
All College Credit Plus students are required to meet with an academic advisor. Your advisor will contact you prior to the withdraw deadline each semester to schedule an appointment. If you are not contacted by an advisor, you should seek out your advisor information so that you can ask questions.

The prerequisite course and ACCUPLACER scores are specified in the Northwest State guidelines.  You must receive the appropriate score on the ACCUPLACER in order to be eligible for the classes.  There are no costs to the students for these courses.
